The Annual Tom Scott 10M Road Race & Round the Loch 6K Race will take place on Sunday 8th April 2012 at 10:00am within Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell Event Location The main entrance To Strathclyde Park is located on the A723 between Motherwell & Hamilton. If using the Motorway Network please Exit at Junction 6 & follow the Motherwell signs. For those competitors who are using public transport, a bus stop is located at the Motherwell entrance to the park. If travelling by train, Motherwell Central or Airbles Road stations are situated approximately 1 mile from the park entrance. For DIRECTIONS to Strathclyde Park PLEASE CLICK HERE. Registration Registration will take place at the Water Sports Centre between 8:45 & 9:30. Changing facilities and showers are available & are included in the entry fee. Catering & free car parking are also available at the Water Sports Centre. Both courses have been accurately measured & as both are fairly flat they are suitable for fast times. AGE GROUPS The minimum age for the 10M event is 17 years of age on the day of the race & 14 years of age for the 6K event.
In the "Open Races" Vet/Master categories commence at 40 years for men & 35 years for women. Trophies to be won include:- Tom Scott Trophy (1st Ind.)
